DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

The project was to improve the access and facilities to Magna owned sheltered homes with regards to the DDA provisions. The works comprised the replacing of the existing entrance doors and communal doors, the updating of the communal wc facilities and the general improvement of the entrance lobbies to each home.

CONSULTANT SERVICES PROVIDED:

The Pre-Contract Services carried out on this project involved the initial surveying and feasibility together with budgeting, the preparation of the detailed Specification and detailed drawings, the submitting for relevant regulations and the reporting and advising on the tender received.

The Post-Contract Services carried out on this project involved the continual cost monitoring and reporting on the project, the agreeing and certifying of monthly valuations, dealing with Contractual matters, over seeing the works with regards to quality and the preparation and agreeing of the final account.
