DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

The building has a total internal floor area of 655m² over two linked buildings to accommodate the animal pens and teaching facilities with ancillary storage rooms and toilets. The construction of the barn is a steel portal frame with concrete stock proof walls and timber cladding. The teaching block is of a traditional nature with masonry cavity walls with aluminum windows and external doors, timber vaulted pitched roof clad in steel sheeting. The teaching building included heating, electrical and an education fit out. Ancillary works include external services, drainage and site works.

CONSULTANT SERVICES PROVIDED:

The Pre-Contract Services carried out on this project involved the initial budgeting, and the agreeing of the negotiated tender and selection of the Contractor.

The Post-Contract Services carried out on this project involved the continual cost monitoring and reporting on the project, the agreeing and certifying of monthly valuations, dealing with Contractual matters and the preparation and agreeing of the final account.
